As a Control Design Engineer you will be responsible for everything from design and implementation to verification and commissioning of the control system to meet our customer’s requirements in delivering the FACTS plant. In this role the incumbent should take responsibility for time schedule, budget follow up and quality control during the entire project execution process. The person should have extensive contact with other engineering groups, the project manager, local ABB offices and externally to our customer during verification phase and commissioning. The person will also travel to sites to support commissioning of MACH system.
Bachelor Degree in Electrical with 3 years or M.Tech with 1 year in Power systems or Power Electronics with Excellent knowledge in Power Systems, with good understanding of Automation concepts and Power Electronics. Should have experience in substation automation design & testing experience. Knowledge in SCADA systems will be an added advantage. Person with good communication skills and capability to communicate with technical and non-technical people would be required.
