Essential Qualification: Post Graduates or Graduates in Food Science/ Nutrition/ Biochemistry / Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Food Science & Technology.
Exposure to conduct food quality analysis activities, knowledge of MS Office and computer typing, statistical analysis, report writing, Language: Hindi and English (Fluency in Speech and Writing)
Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- (Consolidated per month)

Terms & conditions:
1.The initial appointment will be till 31/03/2017, which may be extendable further based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and requirements of the project and subject to approval of the same by the Council.
2. No objection certificate from the employer in case he/ she is employed elsewhere (even on temporary basis) and experience certificate in original at the time of interview.
3. Only those candidates will be allowed to appear for interview who have all the original certificates and their photocopies. Candidates, who have final mark sheets but not their provisional or original degree certificates relating to essential qualifications with them, will NOT be allowed to appear for interview.
4. Selected candidates will not be entitled to any claim for regular appointment/absorption either in this Institute or in ICAR.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in 1968 by Government of India with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) assistance at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of the institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country. International Labour Organization (ILO) served as the executing agency. During the initial project period between 1968 and 1973, the institute achieved the targets envisaged and was rated as one of the most successful UNDP projects implemented worldwide. Today CIPET is a premier national institution under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India fully devoted to Academic, Technology Support Services and Research & Development (ATR). CIPET operates on hub & spokes model with 28 locations – 5 High Learning Centres, 12 Other Learning Centres, 3 Specialized Centres, 2 R & D Wings, 5 Vocational Training Centre, 1 Petrochemical Data Services spread across the length & breadth of the country catering to the needs of Polymer and allied industries.
