Minimum eligibility requirements
Essential :
1) SSC or its equivalent examination passed.
2) License to operate VHF(Inland Maritime)
3) Proficient in use of Computer

Method of Selection:
Candidates will have to appear for a written test (in English)/interview in Mumbai for being considered for shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to undergo test on ability to swim. Mumbai Port Trust reserves the right to fix the minimum score required in written test for being considered for shortlisting, if required.

Educational Qualifications:
a) Qualifications mentioned above should be from any of the Examination Board/recognized Indian Universities duly approved by the UGC or any of the recognized Indian Institutes duly approved by AICTE.

b) The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet of the necessary qualification and certificates regarding computer proficiency as on 1.2.2016.

General Conditions:
(i) Depending upon the response the administration reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the written test/interview.

(ii) Decision of the Mumbai Port Trust in all matters relating to recruitment will be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained in this behalf.
