Job Description & Qualifications
The Analyst – Launch Mix Forecast role within the Global Sales Strategy office will develop new Vehicle launch mix forecast. The candidate is expected to analyze Ford & competitor’s historical launch mix data and incorporate all relevant factors to enhance mix forecasting model. Analyst will closely work with Regional Brand and Marketing team to provide launch mix forecast for assigned vehicles and help improve Ford’s decision making. Also, Analyst will provide management with reports related to New model launches.
Key Roles & Responsibility:
Develop New model launch Mix forecast for Ford Markets within assigned Ford Region
Enhance existing New Model Launch Mix Forecast Model using latest analytical tools and techniques.
Analyse Ford and Competition historical Sales mix data using internal & external databases
Be the key contact for Global Sales Mix and Rate Launch data (Powertrain, Bodystyle, Series, Key Features)
Monitor Launch mixes versus agreed commitments.
Forecast Model development for new launches for assigned Markets
Ad-hoc analysis as required.
Develop new and/or enhance existing analytical tools and processes to improve sales and launch reporting process.
Educational Qualification: Engineering with MBA
Work Experience: 4 years
Professional background: Prior automotive industry experience mainly in Product marketing / sales planning / product or marketing strategy / program management / or similar background
Skill set Required
Excellent data analysis and analytical skills (Knowledge of Analytical modeling is added advantage)
Volume/ Mix Forecasting
Excellent written and verbal communication required (in English)
Strong team player and interpersonal skills, incl. flexibility where required
Experience of working with industry data desirable (JATO, Polk, IHS)
Ability to work with senior management, both locally and globally (via teleconference)
Proficiency in MS excel, MS Word and PowerPoint and other analytical tools
