Name of the post: Clerks (Hockey players)
As per recruitment policy of the bank the minimum educational qualification required for recruitment in clerical cadre is pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized board.
Age: The candidate applying for Bank’s hockey team should be in the age group of above 18 years and below 28 years as on 01.06.2016. In case of SC/ST, the upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for selection in Bank’s hockey team.
How to Apply:
Candidates will have to apply on-line at bank’s web site from 02.06.2016 to 16.06.2016
List of provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on Bank’s web site on 18.06.2016. who will bring their original and photocopy of certificates/documents for scrutiny from 21.06.2016 to 23.06.2016. Candidates should print a copy of the uploaded application form and paste a recent passport size photograph duly signed. The candidates should also bring original certificate and documents for verification at Punjab & Sind Bank, Sports Cell, Lyalpur Khalsa College(for Boys), G.T.Road, Jalandhar along with two photographs and self attested photocopies of supporting educational/sports qualification certificates/documents as mentioned in the uploaded application form at the time of scrutiny of papers. Candidates belonging SC/ST categories are also required to bring self attested photocopy of their caste certificate.
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of correctness of their certificates. Their list will be uploaded on the Bank’s site in the morning of 25.06.2016 and will be required to attend field Trials on 27.06.2016
Trials will be conducted on 27.06.2016 at Burlton Park Hockey Stadium Jalandhar at 9.00 AM sharp.
On the basis of the performance in the field trials, candidates will be finally selected.
Bank reserves the right of rejection without assigning any reason.
