Educational Qualification :

Job Description :
Competition Commission of India, New Delhi, established in pursuance of
the Competition Act, 2002, invites applications from eligible candidates for
engagement of 05 (Five) Research Associates/professionals in the field of
Economics to assist the Commission in the discharge of its functions under the

Competition Act.
Research Associates/professionals are initially required for a period of one
year which can be further extended as per requirements. They will assist the
Commission in discharge of its functions under the Competition Act, 2002 and
undertake such work/tasks as may be assigned to them from time to time.

Applicants should be dynamic and self-motivated professionals with
effective analytical, communication (including technical writing) and
interpersonal skills. The details of the eligibility criteria, remuneration payable
and other terms and conditions of engagement are given in the annexure.

The last date for receipt of applications in CCI is : 08.05.2015.

About Us :
The objectives of the Act are sought to be achieved through the Competition Commission of India (CCI), which has been established by the Central Government with effect from 14th October 2003. CCI consists of a Chairperson and 6 Members appointed by the Central Government. It is the duty of the Commission to eliminate practices having adverse effect on competition, promote and sustain competition, protect the interests of consumers and ensure freedom of trade in the markets of India.
The Commission is also required to give opinion on competition issues on a reference received from a statutory authority established under any law and to undertake competition advocacy, create public awareness and impart training on competition issues.
