Job Description & Qualifications:
Work with Ford Worldwide Engineering Release System (WERS) to monitor engineering changes initiated by Asia Pacific Engineering and ensure they comply with their applicable homologation/regulatory requirements
Direct engineering changes with potential homologation/compliance effect to appropriate Lead Homologation activities for investigation and resolution
Assess homologation/compliance effect of running changes by researching/reviewing regulatory records in Ford’s Global database
Work with Ford Homologation Systems and applications (CHIP, HDDS, VHCOS) to support the delivery of vehicle homologation for global markets
Upload, download and maintenance document packages as generated by homologation database
Compile engineering data into final government applications
Review existing homologation documentation and follow up on any inconsistent areas with responsible engineers prior to submission

Qualifications Required:  Engineering degree or related experience

Preferred previous experiences / competencies:
Minimum 5 years related work experience
Highly developed research skills
Understanding of vehicle systems and their interactions
Familiarity with automotive regulations
Effective oral and written communication skills
Good computer knowledge and proficiency
