RESPONSIBILITIES:
RHEL Linux Unix Broad knowledge and skilled in Linux OS environments. Detail knowledge of RHEL 5,6 & 7 OS version.
Experience in Satellite server patching
Install RHEL
with RMD standard build specs on bare metal hosts
Facilitate New system onboarding (DNS, CMDB, syslog, monitoring, ops handoff) changes for new hosts
Experience of ERP Disaster Recover implementation [RecoverPoint for VMs, SRM, support for DataGuard implementation]
Experience of decommissioning of the servers, Add/delete the printers are per requirements on Dev environment
Expertise in system administration practices and troubleshooting
Familiarity with virtualization VMware 9. Basic idea of network security firewall and system hardening. Familiar with redundant bonded network, and VLAN configurations.
Expertise in file system management & LVM Secondary :
Knowledge on tools such as SNOW, PRTG Good written and verbal communication in English Familiar with ITIL process
