Job Duties/Responsibilities
This is the primary to mid level position to the order data analyst role at Caterpillar. The Order data Analyst II manages more complex products as compared to the Order Data Analyst I position, and it will require several years experience in Order Data Analyst I or an equivalent experiences. More complex products have a higher number of possible configurations that can be ordered, typically in the thousands of possible configurations. Also, this analyst will manage the higher complexity of dual sourcing for some sakes models. This analyst will manage a higher number of sales model outlines as compared to the entry level position.
Required Qualifications:
Must have analytical ability and initiative, be results oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Written and spoken fluency in English is a requirement. Other languages are also an asset.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Caterpillar, or equivalent experience concentrated in a Product Group, supply chain, or related fields.
Desired Qualifications:
Four year college degree or equivalent experience concentrated in business administration, engineering statistics, logistics, or related fields.
Knowledge of various Caterpillar products, product applications, and Caterpillar order management processes.
Knowledge of the engineering releasing process, product configuration process, manufacturing process and manufacturing engineering change control process.
